Privacy policy

Your privacy is important. This is how your information will be used and protect:

  • We are in the business of selling anything and everything, not collecting data and hence our policy towards your personal information is that we want only enough information to ensure that we can provide the service you deserve. We will need the following to achieve that:
    1. Your name and surname
    2. Your email address
    3. Your physical address including your billing and shipping addresses
  • Should any of the above information change, it is your responsibility to update the relevant info to prevent any deliveries going astray or communications failing. In the event that an order has been placed with incorrect information we will endeavour (within reason) to complete the order but cannot be held liable for any losses caused as a result of this.
  • As with any agreement or contract should you provide false information or misleading requests to maliciously or fraudulently attempt to cause harm to Clearance Corner we will seek legal council.
  • We will not send any marketing information via email, SMS or telephonically without your specific consent and as per South African laws you will reserve the right to cancel any subscriptions to newsletters at any time.
  • We will not profit or gain any benefit from distributing any of your personal information apart from if we are obligated by law to do so for legal reasons.
  • We will however have to share some of your personal information with courier partners (i.e. The Courier Guys or in-house delivery persons) so that we can carry out our mandate to deliver our products. We will however endeavour to make sure at all times that this information is kept to the Absolute minimum and does not end up in 3rd part hands.
  • We will at all times do everything within our powers to prevent the misuse of your information and remain within the strict laws governing this however Clearance Corner does not accept liability for any loss or damage caused to you as a result of information shared with a third party. This is because we have no control of what they choose to do with your information. We will however always endeavour to partner with only the best, most moral and honest partners so that our name and reputation will always remain of the highest standard.
